[Video or Action at Golden Rod City Inn]

Did anyone happen to see the posters that have been put up around town advertising the Johto Fighting Tournament? I notice it says you are allowed to use weapons in this competition. I wonder what kinds of weapons people will have. I was under the impression that all weapons were illegal here?

[Since Eagle is currently working as the front desk clerk at the Goldenrod City inn a moment has to be spared as the PokeGear is set down on the table long enough to help one of the inn’s new guests check in. It doesn‘t take long and soon Eagle has the PokeGear in hand again.]

I am sorry about the interruption, but I did want to ask, is anyone else thinking of signing up for this tournament?

[A very common thing for people to forget. Eagle really doesn’t seem the type to be a strong fighter, but he definitely can be formidable when he sets his will toward a goal. ]

From what I understand they aren’t allowing any really dangerous weapons. At most maybe a few bruises and that is easy enough to deal with.

I did! I kind of can't wait for it. It makes me glad I've been keeping in shape by training with my team. [Ritz looks sort of ruffled, and she has a pretty big bandage on the upper part of one arm.]

It's just a scratch! Well, okay, not a 'scratch' but I should be fine. Brenda just didn't completely pull a blow that I didn't manage to dodge. I've gone into fights in a lot worse shape than this, it's kinda what I used to do. The world I was in before this had me fighting monsters to keep food on my table, so... [She gets wounds like that occasionally. And yeah, she is pretty much fine.]

Its just a friendly competition. You can do which ever would make you feel the most comfortable.

I was curious about that as well. I assume they will be non-lethal since this is a friendly competition. Have you ever even seen any weapons in Johto? The only thing I have seen is that survival knife...
