Falkner seems to give a lot of people trouble. That Honchkrow of his is a type that is particularly formidable. [Basically, so don’t worry about it. It happens to a lot of people. ] I ended up with a fire type as a starter. But, I believe the closest location where you can catch fire type Pokemon would be Route 36 and 37. It might be easier to look for a Breeder who has an egg for sale.
