That sounds like a rougher style of combat than I was expecting from a lady.
But, I agree. I will only use the one weapon… and no tricks. [Basically agreeing not to use any of the device’s other features beyond that of the laser sword itself. It wouldn’t really be fair anyway since the lady only had the one weapon. ]
I think we should also take a moment to ask our Pokemon not to interfere. A distraction like that in the middle of our friendly match wouldn’t be any good.
[Saying this he does indeed take a minute to instruct the little Pokemon creatures with him not to get involved. Which… who knows if they will really listen, but he did try to make sure this battle remained fair. ]
