[ There is fruit in the air. Apples actually.

This fruit flies by the Pokegear apparently not being supported by anything other than the bowl it is sitting in. But what keeps the bowl from falling to the ground? There is no reason why it should be able to levitate like that.

[ Eagle laughs as he collects his PokeGear from the counter it was sitting on to address everyone watching properly. ]

As you can see, my Pokemon egg hatched today.

Maybe by that time I will be able to get that bowl of fruit away from Baku-chan.
Having a good time training? I would be interested to know if you run across any unique looking Pokemon while you are out there.

Still nothing new. Probably won't be until we decide to move on. But Amane-chan's still entertained, at least.

Amane just enjoys the chance to get out and battle things.

Maybe if I spend a day in that National Park I could find something new.

[[a nod because yeah... yeah she does]]

Maybe we could make a trip of it? Goes as a group?

You are always welcome to come of course. We could even pack a lunch of some kind. I think you have to use special kinds of Pokeballs up there so catching anything might take us a while.

I will look into it a little more. Some one around town should be able to give me more information about that area.

[[there's a pause as someone (wonder who) tugs at his hair]] aaa-- all right, all right! [[a laugh]] Amane-chan's getting impatient, I'll be by in an hour, okay?

[Laughing at the notion that it would be a ‘mini game’ but fine, fine. ]

Don’t keep Amane waiting. She might decide to pull some kind of trick on you if you do!

[[another laugh.]] Un! Until then! [[Waves before cutting the feed.]]

[[About an hour later there's a knock]] Eagle, it's me!

[The door opens slowly… with an atmospheric creepy squeak. The room looks empty.]

[[blink blink]] Well that's strange... [[looks back over at Fuushi and Cirrus.]] Maybe he's just stepped out for a moment?

[[blinks again before peering in]] Eagle...?

[No answer.

Maybe Bakura will notice when a gentle presences drifts down from above to land in his head… and giggle at the trouble she is causing. ]

[[blinks cluelessly a moment before there's that all too familiar feeling of a pokemon in his hair and he blinks once more, trying to look up before giving a smile]] Baku-chan, ne?

[This hair tug means you got the name right.

And this one is almost a question. Did you like the creepy door effect? I have been working on that!]

[A voice from the other room, the kitchenette area. ]

Come on in. I will be there in a minute.

[[She and Amane-chan could work out a hair tug code. He smiles before looking over towards Eagle's voice.]]

OK! [[bows his head just a touch as he enters, Fuushi drifting over to nuzzle against Baku-chan]]

[They should. It would be the morse code of hair tugging.

Nuzzles returned from the smaller Pokemon! Some how, even though they have never met, Baku-chan knows this is a very important Pokemon.]

Is Baku-chan causing trouble again?

[Entering with a tray that, GASP, does not have tea on it. It instead has some cider and pumpkin spiced cookies. ]

She is really excited.

[[but could his scalp withstand it?]]

[[And Cirrus is now taking his turn nuzzling before circling around the younger pokemon]]

[Hm…. That would be a problem… His poor head might get sore after a while. ]

I can’t decide if she is excited about being born or if it is the time of year?

[Baku-chan takes off to hover around with her parents. LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME! I can fly! … basically! ]

Isn’t there some kind of Earth holiday coming up soon? I have heard something about it, but not very much.

[[a small laugh]] Maybe both? Being born so close to Halloween has to be a big thing for a ghost!

[[a smile]] Don't have that holiday in Autozam?

We have other kinds of holidays. I really have never heard of ‘Halloween’ before. I have heard you need cider and pumpkins to celebrate it.

[Hence the choice of snack. ]

Halloween has something to do with ghosts?

Un! It's a Western holiday where the barrier between the world of the living and the dead is at it's thinnest! And you dress up like demons and ghosts and things like that to confuse them so that they think you're one of them and they don't curse or trick you! And you get lots of sweets too!

[Baku-chan pirouettes in the air. What fun that all sounds like! ]

This sounds like the kind of holiday you would really enjoy. Are you going to dress up like a ghost or a demon?

Aaa-- I'm not sure yet, actually! I still need to see what costumes they have in the store!
