[Video or Azalea Town Gym Action]

[ The flames lick up from the floor to consume the already injured Scizor. The creature crosses his arms over its chest trying to with stand the attack but the Vulpix won’t be defeated! Her flames grow in strength flashing up around her opponent until it finally fell over, unable to continue fighting this battle.
Bugsy was cordial enough about his defeat. The Hive badge was graciously offered along with a few other goodies then as the Gym leader retreated to heal his Pokemon Eagle turned to smile at the group of people who had gathered in the gym to watch this event. One person in particular caught his eye. ]

Bakura, are you going to give it a try now?

[Trying for that self confidence Bakura seems to need a little more of. ]

[[Really doesn't look like he believes in himself at all. On the other hand, if Eagle believes he can do it...]]

If you really think so... [[nervous, but looking like he can be talked into it!]]

[He could give Bakura a supportive pep talk… or he could place his arm on Bakura’s shoulder and shove him out onto the gym floor. ]

[[Well he doesn't have much choice in it now... You can do this, Bakura Ryou! Don't let everyone down!]]

[[and amazingly, a short while later he's hugging his team happily before going to receive his badge, all smiles.]]

[Eagle waits until after Bakura has received his badge before walking over to congratulate him properly. ]

See? Now what were you so worried about? You made that look easy!

[[just so utterly embarrassed, part of which is just the pure 'oh wow I did it' relief.]]

I guess I was just expecting it to be really hard, like the last one!

The last time you had a type disadvantage. You shouldn’t compare all gym battles to that one.

[Smiles at. ]

You know the best way to handle your Pokemon you just need to have more confidence in your abilities. If you can learn to do that then none of the Gym Leaders would stand a chance.

[[Looks down with a shy smile, looking almost as if he would blush as he nods slightly. Confidence was something he was just no good at... but....]]

[Hug attack. ]

Don’t look so serious! You should be happy that you won. Now we can show off our shiny badges to everyone.

[[Eyes go wide at the sudden hug before he DOES blush a bit. Still not used to hugs!]]

Un! I am! [[laughs, still with a bit of embarrassment]]

[That’s better! You can be freed from the hug now. ]

Then you should be smiling, not looking at the ground.

[[still so embarrassed and a touch shy.]] I was doing both...

[Bakura is making that face again! So hopeless!!
This time Eagle allows it to slide by, only thinking to himself how cute it is that Bakura is so easily embarrassed.]

To the Pokemon Center then?
I’m sure our Pokemon could use a little looking after.

[[well, who's fault is that, hmmm? ;)]]

Un. And then maybe after, we should find Geo and go out for dinner to celebrate?

[*cough* I’m sure I don’t know what you are talking about. ]

That is the tradition! We can’t break our victory rituals now.

[[a laugh as he nods]] Un! Let's go, then!
