Darn curious Furret

[Video - Route 32 Action]

It is nice to finally be on the road again. [The video cracks, fizzles and pops. ]

I was… [FIZZ]

There might be some Pokemon here th--
[The sound disappears as the video suddenly is flipped upside down. One can watch as Eagle stops speaking, appears surprised, and then the sound returns just in time to capture…]

Zaz! What are you doing?! That one isn’t mine, whose PokeGear are you taking apart?

[Eagle walks swiftly over and takes the partially disassembled PokeGear away from the curious Furret. A few pieces can be seen dropping off the device before the video itself finally dies. ]

[OOC: Eagle is traveling Route 32 from Violet City to Union Cave if you would like to say it was your character’s PokeGear that Zaz just took apart feel free to. He is a very mechanically curious Pokemon and might even have bothered to disassemble quite a few PokeGear or other devices along the way. ]

I can’t believe he did that. I new he was curious about technology but…

Nope! [[holds up his own, undamaged gear]] Thankfully!

Though I do wonder where he got that one from....

Maybe… [Looking back at the Pokemon in trouble here. ] …it could be Geo’s?

[Zaz looks a little shamefaced but he doesn’t confirm this as the truth or not. ]

Anyway, it looks like I owe some one a new PokeGear.

They're pretty easy to get, right?

[[There a bit of a fond smile at the shamefaced look]] I guess naming them after people really is a powerful force, huh?

I think they can be replaced at a Pokemon Center. It shouldn’t be much of a problem. But, it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

[Zaz nods. Even if he had been curious maybe that was a bad idea after all. ]

It really must be, though if Zaz were anything like Zazu he would be able to put this Gear back together again.

[Zaz tries to do just that, taking the pieces from Eagle and trying to fit them back into the places they were before he had messed with them. ]

I'm sure he will in time! He's still just learning, right?

I guess he is. I really don’t know if he had much to do with technology before I captured him, but I can’t imagine a wild Pokemon being very familiar with it.

[Eagle points at a loose piece and then where it likely came from. ‘This goes there, doesn’t it?’ ]

With how many travelers there are, this might not be the first time he's done something like this.

[There is a terrible thought. ]

I hope I won’t have to replace more than one of these…

[[catching that look!]] Aaa-- I mean before you got him!

Maybe we should find him some broken mechanics to toy with?

I wonder. [Looks at the Furret who… does nod a few times. ]

So he had this interest for a while then. You should have said so! It should be too difficult to learn a bit more about these things.

[Broken mechanics sounds like a decent idea. ]

Or maybe even a few of those kits they make for children to put together. They might have something like that in Johto.

Un, probably! Though with how this place is, I wouldn't be surprised if they had them for pokemon too!

If they did those might be better designed for paws… but, Zaz didn’t seem to have too much trouble taking this one apart so maybe that wouldn’t be an issue.

[She can't help it, Caldina is laughing at you Eagle. Can you tell who it is just by the boisterous laughter?]

[The laugh is unmistakable. But, its ok if she laughs… likely it is payback for the many times he laughed at some kind of trouble she had gotten herself into.

It probably is. I wish I had noticed he was interested in them before he started… exploring one on his own.

It's nothing to get upset about. I'm sure there's bound to be someone that can repair those lil ol' things.

Say.. you're from Autozam right? Can't you do all those.. technical things?

Maybe. But, I’m not sure what the PokeGear originally looked like. It will take a while to figure it out.

[Gets the strangest surprised look on his face, when the pokemon shenanigans are discovered. Then he decides to check for his pokegear just like Bakura did]

[Looks over at the culprit before looking back to Eagle]

[Zaz ducks. “I just wanted to see what made it work!” ]

I’m sorry. I will make sure you get a new one once we reach the next Pokemon Center.

[Zaz is a bad bad pokemon]

I should have been more careful with it.

He probably stole it out of your bag while nether of us were watching him.

I really should have been keeping a better eye on him.

Ah well. There's no use moping over it now. [Straightens his posture]

[Cheering up already? Well, have a hug anyway. Eagle does feel terrible that your PokeGear was trashed. ]

I’m sure it will be easy to replace at the next Pokemon Center anyway. They probably have a lot of people who loose these things.

[The hug surprises him a bit, but he doesn't complain]
