Falkner battle

[Video or Action for Violet City]

[The smiling face of a giant furret appears on the screen before two feet and a whirl of color later the view shifts as the fuzzy cameraman pans the PokeGear over to document the scene before him. A moment like this needed to be filmed!
The distressed Gym Leader Falkner sadly looks at his fainted Pokemon before brushing the blue hair out of his eyes and addressing his opponent.]

My dad’s cherished bird Pokemon… but a defeat is a defeat. All right. Take this official Pokemon league badge…

[Falkner’s eyes suddenly widen as the camera zooms in on his stunned face. ]

Oh, hey! Are you alright?

[The gym leader rushes across the arena amid the sound of haggard coughing . The video abruptly ends shortly after as the furret allows the device to slip from his paws and tumble to the ground. ]

Maybe so. I can have a little rest while you train for your Gym battle.

[[No better time to learn! Because you better believe that Bakura will be fretting if he doesn't.]]

[Aww, Bakura… why so sweet! ^^ Eagle will likely be FORCED to rest if Geo see this. ]

A short one maybe, couldn’t hurt anything. [Is that a touch of doubt? ]

[[If Bakura thinks Eagle's not resting, better believe Geo will be told what happened.]]

Un. It's not like they lose levels when you just let them relax, ne?

[That Sir is a threat! … That might work if Eagle had any idea he was thinking it. ]

No, I don’t think anything like that would happen!

[Some one will just be placing a hand on the hand still on his shoulder and smiling that Bakura had been worried enough to be comforting like that. ]

I feel much better now. You don’t have to worry anymore.

[[long as Eagle takes it easy, he won't need to think it!

He nods slightly, looking almost a touch embarrassed to have his worry noticed like that. ]]

You're sure?

[Since he would say he were fine even if he wasn’t it should come as no surprise that he Eagle is more than willing to try and reassure Bakura as to the state of his health, even if he is having doubts about it himself. ]

Yes, I’m sure it was just a passing thing and nothing to worry about at all.

[Does Bakura buy it? Keep smiling and maybe he will!]

[[For now, he buys it. But he'll be keeping a close eye on Eagle's health, that's for sure.]]

[[Another small nod before he give Eagle's shoulder a slight squeeze and lets his hand fall back to his side]]

I hope so. Maybe we should head outside, I'm sure the air in here isn't helping!

Too many bird feathers.

[Eagle agrees, but he does think to get the badge and goodies offered by the defeated gym leader and thank him for the fun battle, before turning to follow Bakura outside. It was a lot easier to breath out here. Fresh clean air and all! ]

Before I take this rest I should head to the Pokemon Center. My Pokemon weren’t too badly injured but they could use a little looking after.

An allergy, maybe?

[[and he nods at the suggestion.]] Un, a little freshening up, ne? [[smiles, walking along side his friend now that they were outside]] I wonder if they have a spa for pokemon to relax after things like that... [[muses]] Or maybe tomorrow we could head out for the lake and relax there?

[Allergy? Doubtful… and yet, did that have something to do with it? He looks over at the two bird Pokemon he seems to have acquired. ]

I hope not. I wouldn’t know what to do with those two if that had anything to do with it.

A Pokemon spa… I haven’t heard of anything like that. I also haven’t asked around for one.
[The lake sounds like a good idea to Carrera who makes her preference known by yipping loudly at the suggestion. ]

It sounds like the lake then. [BEWARE INCOMING TEASE] I guess I should bring some swimming trunks so I don’t embarrass you so badly this time!

[[goes a bit red and looks to the side]] Aaa-- that would probably be a good idea, un! [[rubbing the back of his neck]]

[Eagle smiles as the tease hits its mark. Who would have thought Bakura could turn so red so fast?

Mercifully they arrived at the Pokemon Center where Eagle had to stop teasing Bakura long enough to have Nurse Joy look after his Pokemon and fill out whatever scant paperwork such a thing required. ]

How close are you and your team to challenging the Gym?

Pretty close, I think. Amane-chan and Fuushi are ready, but Gollum's not quite to level 20 yet. We've been really working hard, though, so I think in another week he'll be ready. He'd very determined when he has a goal!

[[said pokemon at Bakura's side gave a very toothy grin at that]]

That is pretty close. You will have to tell me when you intend to challenge him so I can watch your battle like you did mine.

[Naturally he wants to see this! ]

Of course! I'm planning on it! [[a wide smile of his own. He wants all his friends there cheering for him. He'd feel too nervous otherwise!]]

[After a short wait Eagle’s Pokemon are returned all bright eyes and happy looking again. ]

Good. I wouldn’t want to miss it.

And I wouldn't want you to miss it!

Are you going to want to move on to the next town once we both have our badges? Or are we going to wait for Geo to get his as well?

I don’t know that Geo was even considering gaining badges himself. As a Pokemon Breeder it isn’t like he really needs to. So, I was considering moving on after that. Is that alright with you?

Un, that'd be fine. I've been wanting to map that cave, and I hear there's a craft supply store down there.

[[Though he's a little sad that he'll be leaving some of his friends behind... but considering one of them was Ryuzaki... And it wasn't as if he couldn't talk to them over the gear!]]

I am very interested in that cave as well. Maybe I can find an interesting rock type Pokemon there.

[If he had his data scanner he would be making a map too! But… drawing a map he is more then willing to leave that to Bakura. ]

Un, I was hoping the same! Apparently the next gym is bug types, so a rock type would be helpful!

[[and he's realizing that he really does need some diversity in his team...]]

I don’t know what level that trainer is at, but fire moves are also good against bugs. [A smile for Carrera. ]

And so are flying types. Don’t you have a ghost/flying Pokemon?

[Unsure what all types Bakura really has there. ]

Un, Fuushi's also flying, as is Annin. [[though really, Annin was not a battle pokemon by any means!]]

Hmm… but ghosts types aren’t very effective against bugs and plant types are really badly hurt by them.

[You decided to start out with a tough team there Bakura! ]

It should be interesting to see how you deal with that.
