Falkner battle

[Video or Action for Violet City]

[The smiling face of a giant furret appears on the screen before two feet and a whirl of color later the view shifts as the fuzzy cameraman pans the PokeGear over to document the scene before him. A moment like this needed to be filmed!
The distressed Gym Leader Falkner sadly looks at his fainted Pokemon before brushing the blue hair out of his eyes and addressing his opponent.]

My dad’s cherished bird Pokemon… but a defeat is a defeat. All right. Take this official Pokemon league badge…

[Falkner’s eyes suddenly widen as the camera zooms in on his stunned face. ]

Oh, hey! Are you alright?

[The gym leader rushes across the arena amid the sound of haggard coughing . The video abruptly ends shortly after as the furret allows the device to slip from his paws and tumble to the ground. ]

[It's a solid victory. Geo was about to smile-- when something stops him cold. Coughing? But I thought-- the coughing fit reminds him of Eagle's illness that allegedly hadn't followed him here.]

Eagle-- EAGLE!

[Rushing over there too]

[By the time Geo arrives the little coughing fit seems to be over.
Eagle just walks over to smile up at Geo. A poor transparent veil to cover how worried the Commander really is about this. ]

Hello Geo.

[ Don't you hello me! Incredulous look]

How long has this been going on?!

[Guilt.
But… this time he really doesn’t have anything to feel guilty on. ]

This is the first time I have noticed anything at all… Maybe it isn’t actually the same thing?

[He really hoped it wasn't. That illness...]

I- hope not.. but.. you're getting some rest immediately.

[Oh yeah, he’s going to protest that. ]

But, I have to take my Pokemon to the Pokemon Center.

I can do that for you. They'll understand...

[He's not having it. Um.. and we can celebrate your victory later]

You've been pushing yourself too hard.

I think I can handle a little walk like that.

[Which means he really isn’t interested in delegating this task to you, Geo. He does collect his bag from the floor where it was laying though and make his way back to his 2nd in Command. With a smile a Pokeball is deposited in Geo’s hand. ]

I did catch something for you.
[Subject change… never mind that he was doing this during the ‘pushing himself too hard’ phase. ]

[Geo was disappointed but there was no dissuading Eagle when he had his mind set on something. He huffed and took a moment to ruffle Eagle's hair]

What am I going to do with you?

[The commander pulled away and went to collect his things.]

You did? [Quirked a brow and looked at the pokeball] What is it?

[AND YOU'RE RESTING AFTER THE POKEMON CENTER]

[The ‘what am I going to do with you’ gets a playful laugh in return. ]

It’s a Pokemon. I found it while investigating Sprout Tower.

[Waiting for Geo to open the Pokeball to see what it is. ]

[What else could fit in a pokeball XD? A keychain I guess]

[Waits until they walk outside before he throws that ball]

[It could have been empty. :P

From this Pokeball pops a Gastly. Who decides to turn around and swiftly fly right into the face of the guy holding the Pokeball. ]

[ Oh yeah! A pokeball by itself.]

What is it-- Ahhh! [The Pokemon came rushing at him. Not expecting it he exclaimed and took on a defensive stance]

[The the Gastly howls with laughter as she passes right through him. What a great reaction! ]

It’s a ghost Pokemon called Gastly.
[Such a face! Eagle has to laugh too! ]

She must like you if she is teasing you already!

[Geo tries to regain his composure, the ghastly had given him such an initial fright. He replies a bit sheepishly]

Ghastly, uh-- [Appropriately named]

.. it's .. nice to meet you too?

[Gastly floats over to… laugh again, right in Geo’s face. She did enjoy it when people freaked out like that. ]

I hope you aren’t afraid of ghosts, Geo.

[Teasing from a second party… who doesn’t laugh in your face but does smile a touch evilly at you. ]

[This certainly was a jovial little ghost..]

Afraid? [Looked to the Pokemon again] Naw.. she just startled me.

[Only a little embarrassed here]

Good, I didn’t think that would be a problem for you. I should take you out sometime.

[Sudden decision. ]

Have you tried to capture any Pokemon yourself?

[Take me out? What?]

Not as of yet, no.

[Oooooh you meant out to capture Pokemon?]

[Of course Geo, what else did you think he meant? ^,^ ]

We should do that some time. Maybe there will be some interesting Pokemon on the way to the next City.

[Cute blush btw… ]

[I-well-he could of-COUGH]

Yeah, there could be. I mean a Pokemon breeder... needs to have Pokemon to breed, right?

[What am I babbling about.... cough]

It will make your job more difficult if you only have one Pokemon.

[Pause. ]

I wonder if it would be difficult to find two Pokemon that could fall in love with each other?

[I know that much Eagle. Lol there's nothing about this conversation Geo likes right now]

[Sometimes Eagle says things just to see that kind of reaction. Then he gets to smile wickedly and come up with something like…]

I’m sure we could give them a few hints if they need any help.
