[Video / Action for Route 29 near Cherrygrove]



[The tall grass parts uncovering the Sentret who thought it was hiding there. Reflexively it stands up on its tail to get a better look at just what had found it, giving the trainer more than enough time to bark an order.]

Astina, tackle attack.

[The Eevee doesn’t move.]

Astina… I said use tackle!

[Still nothing. The Eevee just sits back on his haunches fully prepared to do absolutely nothing. Eagle almost snarls at the Pokemon who has decided not to follow his orders… but there isn’t time for that now. The Sentret has recovered from the surprise and was now fully prepared for a tackle attack. ]

Sol!

[The Mareep hops forward presenting no sign of the disobedience the other Pokemon had shown. ]

Thunderwave!

[While prepared for a normal attack even the fully on guard Sentret can’t shield itself when paralyzed by the electricity coursing through its body. ]

Now, use thundershock.

[The wild Pokemon shudders and almost in slow motion tips off its carefully balanced tail, face planting into the dirt. In an instant the Pokeball appears over the Sentret’s head drawing it inside. The ball wiggles, once, twice, and then it is still. ]

[[standing a bit back, egg in arms, Gollum at his feet, Annin in his hair. He's given up trying to figure out where Amane and Fuushi have gone off to, they'll be back leveled up on their own later, he's sure, sigh]]

[A smile while presenting a Pokeball filled with a new Pokemon.

And then… he glances at Astina.]

I’m not sure about him. I don’t believe we have had a fight?

[Astina shakes his head in a “No, I am not angry” kind of way. ]

[[the 2nd thing was more what he was more concerned about, so after a smile and nod at the pokeball, he couches down before the Eevee to be on better level]] Was something wrong?

[[Gollum moves forward as well, mimicking Bakura's concerned expression]]

[Ever the conversationalist Astina just shakes his head again. ]

It is strange. He just stopped wanting to even try to gain levels once he reached level 14.…

He is supposed to learn a new attack at that time…

[Just taking a moment to look that attack up. ]

Eevee learns Growl at level 15. I wonder why he wouldn’t want to learn that attack?

He doesn't have to learn it, does he? If he already has 4, he can just pass it up, right? Though I don't know why that one would be a problem. Amane-chan has had that one since I got her!

I’m not sure. He must be planning something, but since I don’t really understand Pokemon all that well, I haven’t been able to figure out what it is.

They only can have four moves at a time, it seems. Or at least Amane-chan is that way. But she still uses Growl when she's stopped using Spite, which she learned afterward.

[[looks back over at the pokemon]] Do you not want to battle right now? Is that it?

They all chatter away but what they're trying to do is ask the Eevee they saw if he's okay! It's important!]

Astina does look at the PokeGear and nod so they would know he was alright. There was no reason to just let them worry. ]

[Cu pushes forward because he's the oldest! And just starts talking because...hey...new Eevee friend!]

Cu, Bi, Cas. What are you doing? [Aya reaches to take his Gear back despite the complaints he gets.]

[Astina is more than grateful when Eagle takes his PokeGear back. He isn’t really the most social Pokemon around. ]

There is no reason to apologize. It would do Astina some good to meet other Pokemon… as long as they aren’t put off by his lack of speaking. He is pretty quiet.

Astina isn’t that kind at all. We have been fighting and gaining levels together for a while now. There must be something about the level 15…

Maybe it is something like that. It makes more sense than his not wanting to learn growl! That should be the next move he learns.

Growl just lowers a pokemon's attack, so I can't see why he wouldn't want to learn it.
