[Video - Friday Evening]

[The black clad Commander hits the ground with a roll leaving the roof of the Violet City Gym in dramatic fashion after a little reconnaissance mission. He smiles at the Mareep and Eevee waiting for him under a nearby tree before joining them to relay the information he had recovered. Eagle was totally unaware that his third Pokemon, a Vulpix, had been playing with his PokeGear and recording this little evening raid. ]

This city’s gym leader is Falkner his Pokemon are all flying types so they should be weak to you Sol because you have that new electric attack.

[The Astina the Eevee listens closely and Sol the Mareep nods upon learning his role in the upcoming battle. ]

However, they are all level 30 or higher. We should do a bit more training before trying to…

[The video suddenly shifts and tumbles to the ground as Carrera the Vulpix looses her footing on the dewy ground. As she stumbles the piece of technology is dropped and her role as a videographer is betrayed. ]

Are you hurt? [Once he sees that she isn’t. ]
I know this isn’t exactly a military mission but there are times when recording video is… inconvenient...

[With that the PokeDex is retrieved and the video ends. ]

[Glances at Carrera who looks a little ashamed. ]

I was curious about the local Gym Leader. This seemed like the best way to find out more about him.

[He tilts his head to the side.]

Why not just ask the people that have defeated him?

I think the first hand experience of watching him battle is more valuable.

[Astina sniffs the air as if looking around for something. Maybe something in that bush…? ]

Ah, perhaps! Either way, you must have figured something out about the Leader! [He gives a smile.] That's all that matters, right?

[Kuro-puppy nudges Fai in the side, trying to tell him that You're about the be caught, idiot, move! But Fai just keeps perfectly still. If he moves, he'll be caught!]

[The ends does justify the means in this case. Eagle nods an agreement. ]

[Astina wanders over to peer around the bush… which attracts Sol’s attention. ]

[He gives a bit of a laugh as--Shit! ...Oh, hi there Astina...]

[The Eevee stares… Maybe he wont say anything? ]

[Sol hops to Eagle’s side as Carrera bounds headlong into the bush to find out what it is! ]

Kuro-puppy growls at his owner--"Growlithe Growl!" Idiot! I told you to move!

PERHAPS IF I KEEP PERFECTLY STILL, YOU WILL MISTAKE ME FOR PART OF THE BUSH?]

Carrera: Vulpix!!

[She runs over to try and make friends with Fai and Kuro-Puppy with her tails happily wagging. As Eagle cautiously makes his way over to the bush as well.

Fai! Were you there the entire time?

[Fai puts on a surprised face as well!] Ah! Eagle-kun! I didn't know you were here! [ 8D?

Kuro-puppy gives a huff, walking away from Fai and over towards Carrera, and the other Pokemon.] Growlith, Growl Growl!

You just happened to be sitting in a bush in the middle of the night?

[Instantly suspicious… but finding the situation VERY funny. ]

Carrera: VUL!

[Trots over to the Growlithe.

Hello! I’m Carrera! Can we be friends? ]

[He gives a smile. NOTHING SUSPICIOUS HERE AT ALL.]

Oh, yes! It's a very nice night out, isn't it Eagle-kun?

[Kuro-puppy considers Carrera for a minute before nodding. "Growlithe!"

Okay! We can be friends!]

Isn’t it better when you can see the stars instead of the boring interior of a bush?

[Not buying it for a minute.

Carrera yips happily.
Would you like to play? We can play chase! Astina probably won’t play… but I bet Sol would! ]

Ah! Is that so? [He scrambles out of the bush and onto his feet, brushing himself off and looking to the sky.] Oh, it appears you're right, Eagle-kun!

[NOPE. NOTHING SUSPICIOUS HERE.

Kuro-puppy gives a nod.
Okay! I like to play! My person doesn't let me fight or play with other pokemon at all!
He huffs, sounding indignant. God, how rude of Fai, really.]

[Really! You make Eagle laugh. ]

Fai is pretty sneaky too!

[Carrera couches down, then pounces in a tackle designed to roll her new friend over.
Why not? Maybe if you asked Fai would listen and understand that you wanted to do those things! ]

[He gives a laugh.]

Oh yes! But I got caught as well!

[Kuro-puppy rolls over fully and jumps to his feet, giving a playful tackle back.
I do! I try to tell him! But he just laughs a lot!]

Video - Fai? Hiding in a bush, laughing? NEVER >w>

Video - Then why is it shaking?!

Video - ...UHM. You're imagining things!

Video - There see! Now the Pokemon is onto you!

Video - >A> looks around for a new place to hide!

Video - It's too late! You should have moved faster!

Video - It didn't want to shoo I guess.

Video - Guess not. Sigh.

Action - Just get caught with grace

Action - Graceful enough for you?
