[Carrera comes closer, sniffing the newest team member... Before yipping loudly and deciding this creature was going to be a great new friend! The Mareep seems to agree as he reaches out a paw to pat the little Vulpix on the head but accidentally ends up giving her a bit of a static charged shock from his overly electrically charged fluff. The poor guy instantly looks ashamed and incredibly apologetic. But, he really needn’t have worried. He is instantly forgiven.
In the background the second egg begins to wiggle and then shine with a bright light, leaving an Eevee where the egg used to be. He blinks as his eyes adjust to the sunlight. But, instead of joining the others he hangs back, just casually watching.
Eagle can‘t be seen on the video but he must be there because soon after the second egg hatches the PokéGear is used to scan the new arrivals to find out more about them.]

Mareep, the wool Pokémon. Mareep stores static electricity in their wooly coat. They avoid battle and have a mild dispositions.

Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon. Eevee is a unique Pokémon that can adept to its environment by changing its form and abilities when evolving.

So you were what was inside those eggs. Now I suppose I will have to think up names for you both.
[A voice that sounds as happy as ever as Eagle lays the PokéGear to one side in the mistaken belief that, after recording the hatching that so many people had been curious about, he had turned the device off. ]

I wonder if it is very common for Pokémon to so remind their trainer of people they know…

The Mareep seems so… gentle and well-meaning, that reminds me of Geo.

[The Eevee looks up into the air just in time to see a flock of flying Pokémon pass by overhead. ]

And that one seems so quiet and reserved… [Eagle chuckles a little again. ] But, Lantis might disapprove of being compared to something that cute.

[[gives a very soft laugh]] Or he might be touched you were thinking of him.

[[reaches up to carefully pluck the hoppip from his hair and set him on his lap.]]

That actually stings a little, but there is no outward sign of it.]

Maybe. It isn’t as if he would complain if he didn’t like the idea.

[The Mareep wanders over to say ‘hello’ to Bakura… by giving him an accidental shock. ]

[[gives a small 'itatata' at the shock, before giving a small smile, reaching out to (carefully) pet the electric sheep.]] You're going to have a time getting the hang of that, eh?

[[utterly oblivious to his usual foot in mouth striking again]]

What?

[Surprise! Now if that was because of what Bakura said… or the Mareep accidentally electrocuting his friend… ]

[[blinks up]] The shocking. Since I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean to do it! [[smiles. Why yes he was talking to the sheep before.]]

Oh that. [An awkward moment glossed over by a sheepish chuckle. ]

I think you are right about that. I don’t believe he does mean to shock people.
Its just static?

[The Mareep agrees with a “MAaaa- reeep.” ]

Un, it could be. I know how bad my hair gets in winter if I don't take proper care of it, so I can only imagine how it must be for him when it's his attribute! [[smiles back at the Mareep.]]

[Mareep… “Do I really have bad hair?”
Carrera walks over to nuzzle him. “I don‘t think so! Its really neat hair!”]

I think those two have made friends already.

[Said while trying not to imagine Bakura with hair that… poofy and failing.]

Does your hair really get that frizzy…?

Sometimes! [[goes to look at a chunk of it]] Aaaa~aah, it's already starting to! [[laments]] It's really hard to take care of it without good conditioner... [[frets a little]]

[Oh… a moment of vanity!]

The conditioner they gave you in your pack wasn’t enough? Then maybe you can find something stronger in one of the Pokémarts.

[[looking almost comically forlorn]] They only had more of the same one...

[[and with his hair? If he doesn't take good care of it, do you know what a mess it becomes?

Actually, considering they'll be a week on the road without a proper shower? You just might get to see that.]]

[That’s true… no one has a water Pokémon do they. Poor kid.]

It doesn’t help that your Pokémon are helping to style it either.

[Constantly grabbing at and messing up an already unstable hair do. ]

[[Must catch one ASAP! Until then.. awkward river baths.]]

[[siiigh]] Un... Though at least Amane keeps it flat when she sits on it. [[a small smile down at his hoppip who has hopped over to perch on the mareep's wool.]]

[The mareep looks confused… and then settles into giving the other Pokémon a ride. ]

Have you thought up names for your Pokémon yet, Bakura?

I've been still thinking on it. Though I think I knew Gollum's name from the start. [[smiles at that the Sableye, not expecting Eagle to get the reference.]]

[And of course he doesn’t… that movie not having been shown on Autozam. ]

That is an interesting name.
[Looks over at the Sableye himself. ]

Does he like the name?

[[the pokemon looks over unblinkingly at Eagle in return]]

Aa-- I don't know if he really has an opinion on it. Or anything really. [[says a little sheepishly.]]

He does seem pretty calm about everything. Maybe he and…

[Points over at the Eevee who also seems to be calmly watching everyone. ]

…that Pokémon would get along.

Maybe! [[smiles before encouraging Gollum to head over. Which he does, standing next to the eevee, trying to see what he's watching.]]

[There is a flock of bird Pokémon in one of the trees. The Eevee seems to be watching those… or watching the Sableye that is walking over to him… or watching the two trainers to see what they are thinking…

….
….
And back to watching the birds. ]

He didn’t protest. If he is anything like that person then it must be a good sign.

The one he reminds you of? [[smiles]]

Its silly.
[ I shouldn’t even be thinking about him at all. ]

But, they do both seem to like birds.

That means he'll like you, ne?

Then he should like Carrera…
