Did anyone happen to see the posters that have been put up around town advertising the Johto Fighting Tournament? I notice it says you are allowed to use weapons in this competition. I wonder what kinds of weapons people will have. I was under the impression that all weapons were illegal here?

[Since Eagle is currently working as the front desk clerk at the Goldenrod City inn a moment has to be spared as the PokeGear is set down on the table long enough to help one of the inn’s new guests check in. It doesn‘t take long and soon Eagle has the PokeGear in hand again.]

I am sorry about the interruption, but I did want to ask, is anyone else thinking of signing up for this tournament?

Yes but, minor things… nothing particularly lethal. I don’t think lethal weapons are even allowed to exist in Johto. At least, I have never seen one here.

And I do have weapons training. I will be perfectly fine.

It's almost the exact same feeling that she has about how things were left when she died back home. She was sure that her friends in Celestial Being would give their best to defeat Ribbons, but she was still scared about what other dirty tricks he may have pulled]

[Her concern is wise. Eagle does have a tendency to… forget… about his own safety in situations like this. ]

I promise that I will do my best to come out unharmed as long as you promise to try not to worry. I wouldn’t want you to be upset through out the entire tournament. A smile suits you better than that worried expression.
